The third 50pence commemorative coin for circulation has been ordered by british government. A royal proclamation issued in the name of the Queen in early December approved the minting of “coins in gold, silver, and cupro-nickel marking the United Kingdom’s exit from the European Union.”

The first digital collection medals in the world created by the Bank of Lithuania are dedicated to Lithuania’s declaration of independence on 16 February 1918 and its 20 signatories (Editor’s note: Only the silver coin “Declaration of Independence” of €19.18 is legal tender, in Lithuania, digital tokens are not legal tender).

This coin is issued on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the founding of the University of Cyprus. The coin depicts the emblem of the University of Cyprus surrounded by a pattern, formed by a repetition of part of the emblem. The emblem’s multiple circular repetition appears like the emission of sunrays. This symbolises the conveyance and dissemination of knowledge, which is the University’s mission.
