Fifteen years after the first edition in france , France will once again host the rugby world cup in september 2023. In its long tradition to celebrate sport, notably in tne context of the Olympic games, La Monnaie de Prais intend to celebrate rugby and this competition wich will bring together teams from 20 nations.
Design of the coin depicts a player making a pass. In the backgroud is represented the rugby field in a globe. The emblem of the competition isinserted next to the player while the name of the competition surrounds the design.
