Central Bank of Lithuania unveiled its 2020 numismatic program in January 2020.
€2 coin dedicated to aukstaitija region
On the obverse, the national side of the coin features a coat of arms with an armour-clad knight holding a sword in his right hand. The coat of arms is held by two angels, symbolically exalting and protecting Aukštaitija, one of the most important regions of Lithuania and the cradle of its statehood.

Central Bank of Ireland unveiled partially its numismatic program for year 2020:
1. Annual Mint Set
The annual set is dedicated to three flowers on the brink of extinction: Pyramidal bugle, Marsh saxifrage and Meadow saffron.
The 2020 set features colourful imagery of beautiful Irish wild flowers and has an issuance limit of 8,000 sets. This set will include all Irish coin denominations from 1c to €2 in brilliant uncirculated (BU) quality.

The third 50pence commemorative coin for circulation has been ordered by british government. A royal proclamation issued in the name of the Queen in early December approved the minting of “coins in gold, silver, and cupro-nickel marking the United Kingdom’s exit from the European Union.”
