The Mint of Lithuania announced the postponement of the issue of the €20 coin dedicated to the TOKYO Olympic Games. The International Olympic Committee has postponed the Olympic Games to 2021 at time. However, the cancellation of these games is not excluded by this authority if the pandemic of COVID 19 would last until 2021.

The jubilee year of 75 years of freedom was officially inaugurated in Terneuzen on 31 August 2019 by His Majesty King Willem-Alexander.
