€20 coin from Lithuania celebrating 2021 Olympics

The Mint of Lithuania announced the postponement of the issue of the €20 coin dedicated to the TOKYO Olympic Games. The International Olympic Committee has postponed the Olympic Games to 2021 at time. However, the cancellation of these games is not excluded by this authority if the pandemic of COVID 19 would last until 2021.

The Lithuanian Mint has therefore reacted to this news  by delaying the issuance of the coin dedicated to this event.

The obverse of the coin features a stylised 4 rowers team, with the logo of the National Olympic Committee of Lithuania, the inscription LIETUVA (LITHUANIA), the denomination (€20), and the mintmark of the Lithuanian Mint arranged around it.
