Bank of Lithuania announced the issuance of a €5 and a €1.5 euro coin dedicated to Sea Festival.
On the last weekend of July the sea is traditionally saluted, as the major Sea Festival takes place in Klaipėda offering hundreds of events. It is an extremely cheerful weekend in summer that attracts people to the sea, also known as the Summer Christmas.
The goal of the festival is to promote seafaring by entertaining people.

On July 25, 1921, Belgium and Luxembourg signed a treaty to strengthen the cooperation and integration of the two countries. Bank of Lithuania will issue a coin dedicated to social sciences studying. The coin will be released during the fourth quarter of 2021.
On the obverse of the coin is the abstract symbol of Vytis, formed from fragments of intersecting and intertwined circle lines, thus symbolizing the interdisciplinary nature of social sciences and interrelationships.
