In 2021, Her Majesty The Queen reaches the latest milestone in a remarkable life as she becomes the first British monarch to reach a 95th birthday. To mark this historic event and personal achievement for The Queen, The Royal Mint has struck a range of official United Kingdom coins.
Featuring two new designs, all the coins bear the inscription ‘My Heart and My Devotion’, referencing a promise The Queen made in her 1957 Christmas speech and has kept ever since.

The Bank of Lithuania announced its 2021 numismatic program with the planned issuance of two new €2 commemorative coins and joint issues with Poland.

To mark the singer’s iconic career, and raise funds for the Elton John UK Charitable Foundation, The Royal Mint will auction a one of a kind silver medallion.
The piece was commissioned exclusively for the Foundation and was hand-engraved by The Royal Mint’s Chief Engraver Gordon Summers as well as being lasered using state of the art technology to create the intricate design.

The Mincovna Kremnica (slovak Mint) has announced in the last few days the issuance of several collectors’ items to complete the program already issued for the year 2021. As announced, a box set and a medal will be issued to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the first coinage of Czechoslovakia in 1921, shortly after its independence. Slovakia was part of the latter country from 1918 to 1938, when the latter was partitioned and the Sudetenland area, populated by 3 million ethnic Germans, was annexed by Germany.

The second finnish commemorative coin for 2021 is dedicated to the Compulsory Education Act, adopted 100 years ago in Finland. School and education have been important pillars to build a modern European society.
