2022 and 2023 annual BU sets from Croatia

The Croatian Mint has announced the release of the latest set of Croatian Kunas coins and the first Croatian monetary set containing the new euro divisional series.
The set containing the 2022 annual series of circulation coins in kuna and lipa of the Croatian Mint will be available for purchase in the second half of January 2023. The set is issued in the amount of 2000 sets.
This is the last official set containing Croatian national coins to be released by the Croatian Mint.

Bank of England: New banknotes with Charles III portrait unveiled

Last update 04/10/2023 – The Bank of England today unveiled the design of the King Charles III banknotes. The King’s portrait will appear on all four polymer bills (£5, £10, £20 and £50). The King’s image will appear on the front of the bills, as well as in the clear security window. However, the back of each bill remains unchanged. These bills have the same security features as the existing bills with the portrait of Her Majesty Elizabeth II.

Last update 12/22/2022 – Hum, known as the smallest town in the world, shows up on the smallest coin in the world, issued by the Croatian National Bank and minted by the Croatian Mint. The diameter of the gold coin is 1.99 millimetres and it weighs only 0.05 grams.

One month before the introduction of the euro as an official means of payment in the Republic of Croatia, citizens were allowed to buy the first packages of euro coins. The Americans landed on the large northern island of Okinawa in April 1944.
