In 2021, Her Majesty The Queen reaches the latest milestone in a remarkable life as she becomes the first British monarch to reach a 95th birthday. To mark this historic event and personal achievement for The Queen, The Royal Mint has struck a range of official United Kingdom coins.
Featuring two new designs, all the coins bear the inscription ‘My Heart and My Devotion’, referencing a promise The Queen made in her 1957 Christmas speech and has kept ever since.
The coin series reverse designs by Timothy Noad features the Royal Cypher set against the national floral emblems and the Queen’s own words ‘My heart and my devotion’ inscribed beneath.
