From 2022 to 2025, the National Collection’s annual sets will be dedicated to the four elements: earth, fire, air and water. The series begins this year with the “Earth” set.
The “Land” medal
The medal of the BE series of the Netherlands 2022 also has the theme of the earth. The medal shows two hands holding a sprouting seed. Surrounded by leaves, the hands also form the trunk of a tree. The trees are a perfect illustration of the unique workings of the Earth.
You can also personalize the medal on the reverse side. Indeed, this side is deliberately left blank, to engrave whatever the collector wishes.

Proof Quality
The announced mintage is 3 000 proof sets. The blank are polished before strike. This way the relief stands out from the background. The proof coins are struck one by one, handled only with gloves and packed in capsules to avoid any damage.
