
Japan strikes a 50 takas coin for Bangladesh

The Ministry of Finance and Mint of Japan, with the cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has received an order from the Bangladesh Bank to produce silver coins. They are intended to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Bangladesh.
This commemorative silver coin is issued by Bangladesh Bank as a commemorative coin. This commemorative silver coin is intended for collectors and cannot be used as means of payment in the issuing country.
Coins will be sold by the Mint in Japan in the future and by the Central Bank of Bangladesh. Details of the sale will be announced in late March 2022.
