LITUANIA – 20 euro coin dedicated to the 500th anniversary of Francysk Skaryna’s Ruthenian Bible

The obverse of the coin features the remaining part of the cover of Francysk Skaryna’s Ruthenian Bible. In the centre against an ornate background – Vytis, the coat of arms of the Republic of Lithuania, at the top – inscription LIETUVA, on the left – coin denomination (€20), on the right – the date of issue of the coin (2017).
The mintmark of the Lithuanian Mint is engraved on the right-hand side of the obverse of the coin.
The reverse of the coin features part of the cover of Francysk Skaryna’s Ruthenian Bible, at the bottom – inscription PRANCIŠKAUS SKORINOS RUSĖNIŠKOJI BIBLIJA 500.
