France: €2 commemorative coin dedicated to fight against breast cancer

September 25th, 2017 is the official issuing day of the 2017 second french 2€ commemorative coin, dedicated to the fight against the breast cancer. This great cause is supported by Monnaie de Paris (french Mint) which pays €2 to “The Breast cancer let’s speak about it!” organization. A female bust is engraved on national side of coin which comes to be rolled up a ribbon on chest level. This ribbon is colourized in pink on the brilliant uncirculated and proof quality versions of this numismatic issue.

It is the second time that Monnaie de Paris dedicates a €2 commemorative coin to the fight against an endemic disease. In 2014, a coin had been emitted to commemorate the fight against AIDS. This currency is on sale on the online shop of the Currency of Paris.
