The Slovak Mint 5Mincovna Kremnica) has officially unveiled its numismatic program for the year 2019. This year will be marked, as 2018, by the commemoration of the Czech Republic creation in 1919, following the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
As a secondary subject, the Slovak Mint will mint a commemorative coin dedicated to the 10th anniversary of Slovakia’s euro changeover.
In 2019, four collectors, including a €2 commemorative coin, commemorate Milan STEFANIK, one of the two co-founders of the Czechoslovak Republic. The latter also had very close links with France since he lived there from 1907 to 1919, the year of his death in a plane crash that remained quite mysterious.
The Slovak numismatic program is very well balanced with 5 non circulating silver coins for collectors, one gold coin for collectors and three coinsets totalling 7,000 BU series for the year. This program is completed by a coincard containing the 2€ dedicated to Milan STEFANIK.
