Proof silver €5 – Belgium 2019 -50 years first moon landing

Exactly 50 years ago the first human set foot on the moon. On July 21, 1969 (European time), young and old watched television and saw how the first successful step was made by Neil Armstrong. He then spoke the legendary words: That’s one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.
Especially in honor of this historical event, the Royal Mint of Belgium issues a Sterling silver 5 euro coin. The design of the coin is based on how young and old looked together at the first step on the moon.
