Official first strike – silver €10 “Olympics of Paris – 2024” at the french mint

This afternoon around 4.30PM took place 11 quai de Conti the inaugural first strike of the silver €10 from “Paris Olympics – 2024” collection, in the presence of the sports Minister Roxana MARACINEANU and the President of “Paris 2024”, Tony ESTANGUET. The Hexagonal Gold and Silver licensed coins are minted under license from the Olympic Committee and highlight the Paris Olympic Games that will be held in 2024. The Monnaie de Paris (french mint) was represented for this ceremony by its CEO Marc SCHWARTZ as well as by the very prolific Engraver in chief of the mint, Joaquin JIMENEZ.
